J.E.T. Limo Lawsuit
On November 29, 2024, Martin & Bonnett, PLLC filed a lawsuit against J.E.T. Limousines & Transportation, LLC, other affiliated companies, and their owners and officers alleging that they violated state and federal wage laws by failing to properly pay their chauffeur drivers. This case is a proposed collective and class action, meaning that other employees may have the right to join and seek unpaid wages.
What is This Lawsuit About?
The lawsuit claims that J.E.T:
Did not pay overtime wages as required by law when drivers worked more than 40 hours per week.
Failed to track and compensate drivers for all work hours, including time spent on pre-trip and post-trip duties, work between trips, and other work-related tasks.
Failed to pay minimum wages in some workweeks; and
Did not provide proper sick leave as required by Arizona law.
A copy of the Complaint filed is available HERE.
J.E.T. has denied these allegations. If proven, the allegations mean that many current and former drivers may be owed back wages, damages, and other compensation.
