Dan is an experienced litigator representing working men and women who need a strong and effective advocate to protect their rights in the workplace.

Dan handles a wide variety of litigation matters involving employment discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge and other issues involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Dan is a graduate of Augustana College (Ill.) and Drake University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Illinois, Iowa and Arizona as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the Sixth, Seventh, and Ninth Circuits and United States District Courts for the District of Arizona, Central District of Illinois, and District of Connecticut.

Prior to moving to Phoenix, Dan was engaged in a corporate law and general litigation practice as a partner in a northern Illinois law firm. Dan now serves as counsel for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and Local 2960 and has represented employees of the City of Phoenix, Maricopa County and the State of Arizona.

Dan is a member of the American Bar Association (Labor and Employment Law Section) and a past co-chair of the ABA/EEOC Liaison Sub-Committee. He is also a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, Arizona Employment Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Iowa State Bar Association, and State Bar of Arizona. He has also written and lectured on topics related to current labor and employment law issues
